Lila Vail is a London-based mural artist who creates bespoke, site-specific
works that transform interior spaces through thoughtful design and
craftsmanship. Her murals respond to the character of each setting, drawing
on architecture, nature, and personal narratives to evoke a
distinctive sense of place.
Trained in Fine Art—completing her Foundation at Camberwell College of Arts
and a degree at Chelsea College of Arts—Lila brings a refined understanding
of colour, composition, and the emotional impact of visual storytelling. Combining an artist’s sensibility with an eye for interior design, she produces murals that range from textile-inspired patterns to surreal, imaginative scenes shaped by the natural world.
Every project is carefully developed in dialogue with its environment, attuned
to the proportions, light, and atmosphere of the space it inhabits. Her process
is meticulous, from initial concept sketches to the final brushstrokes, ensuring
each piece feels seamlessly integrated, personal, and emotionally resonant.
